In the long-term creative project that is life in a body on earth, time and timing play a big role. In the The Arc of Time, we will work with the continuum of the past, the present and the future in order to recognise and take responsibility for what we are dreaming. Our current situation, it all its brilliance and suffering, is the result of nearly 14 billion years of evolution. In the dance, we can move across the arc of time in order to gather resources and bring healing to past hurts, be they personal, familial or transgenerational in nature. From a shamanic perspective, the past is full of potent life energy and the dancer in you has the power to free this energy up to bring more resilience and awareness to your life now. When we are grounded and awake in the present, we can extend this consciousness back into the deep past, and we can witness the evolutionary journey that led from the first life to now. In sensing and honouring this long timeline, we may find a new sense of orientation, connection, support and dignity to take us forward. From there, in ceremony, we will turn our attention to dreaming for the future, for ourselves, our loved ones, and the wider community of life to which we belong. The dreams we hold in our heart are what motivates how we live. At this time of crisis and opportunity, we will ask for guidance from the highest source, so that, regardless of the outcome, we can further commit ourselves to living lives that are congruent with who we are and what matters most to us.
